Everyone feels a little homesick when they go to camp for the first time – leaving behind the comforts of home, waking up to reveille, drinking bug juice, and learning new traditions can be jarring to any kid. Caleb is finding that the high hopes for his first summer camp getaway might fall a bit short. Discovering he is less than capable in team sports and not so interested in potato sack races, Caleb becomes a determined explorer and sets off for adventure in the woods, earning his friendship badge in unexpected ways.
